We received a request to clean a hot spring pipe system that had not been used for a while at a source in Atami. Considering the distance and the undulating terrain, we decided not to set up a circulation system. Instead, we pressurized the chemicals from the higher facility side, allowed them to soak, and then collected them from the source side. A bypass for collection was installed on the source side, and after soaking with the chemicals, it was opened. Thin scales often come off easily but can clog due to bends.
